OUR BELIEFS

Awake Vermont believes in the power of prayer and unity of the saints for revival and awakening.

Our Mission

To represent the unity of the Son and the Father well in Vermont.

John 17:21: “I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one – as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.”

Our Core Values

Jesus’s sacrificial work on the cross in order to restore the relationship between God and His creation giving life to all who trust in this work on their behalf.

Romans 5:10  For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his son.  So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

The power of a bride that loves and honors each other well.

1 Corinthians 8:1b – ….But while knowledge makes us feel important, it is love that strengthens the church.

Romans 13:8 – Owe nothing to anyone-except for your obligation to love one another.  If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.

The power of a unified bride that works together with one mind and purpose.

Philippians 2:2 – Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

1 Corinthians 1:10 – I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other.  Let there be no divisions in the church.  Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
